Stars dazzle at the Emmys

The Emmy Awards this year delivered everything—humor, emotion, heartfelt reunions, and record-breaking moments.

Here are some of the best moments from the evening

Adolescence actor Owen Cooper, 15 – now the youngest ever male Emmy winner – lifts his award

At the ceremony, Gilmore Girls stars Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham handed over the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series to Seth Rogen, honored for his role in The Studio.

The audience rose in applause for Stephen Colbert’s acceptance speech, as The Late Show picked up two awards despite ending months earlier.

It was a proud moment for Tramell Tillman, who won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Severance and dedicated the accolade to his mum.

Host Nate Bargatze led a Saturday Night Live–style sketch that playfully poked fun at this year’s Emmy nominees.

While Apple TV+ hits The Studio and Severance earned big victories, the Best Drama honor went to The Pitt.

Cue the celebrations! Here’s who walked away with trophies at the 2025 Emmys.

Netflix’s Adolescence was the big winner of the night, collecting six trophies, including the coveted Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. The show’s brightest moment came when 15-year-old Owen Cooper made history by winning Outstanding Supporting Actor, becoming one of the youngest Emmy winners ever.

In the drama categories, HBO’s “The Pitt came out on top, securing Outstanding Drama Series along with Outstanding Lead Actor for ER alum Noah Wyle.

Apple TV+’s much-talked-about Severance, which led with a whopping 27 nominations, walked away with just two acting awards — for Brit Lower and Tramell Tillman — in addition to its five Creative Emmy wins from last weekend.

On the comedy side, the night belonged to Seth Rogen and his hit show The Studio.” With 23 nominations, the Apple TV+ comedy claimed Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Rogen himself. Counting its Creative Emmy wins, the show made history with a record-setting 13 awards.

One of the most emotional moments came when Stephen Colbert received a standing ovation after winning for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert — just two months after CBS canceled the long-running series.

HBO’s Batman-inspired series The Penguin picked up only one trophy, with Cristin Milioti winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. Meanwhile, fan-favorite The White Lotus left the ceremony empty-handed, as its Thailand-set third season failed to secure a win.

The night, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, wasn’t just about awards — it also treated fans to special reunions from the casts of Gilmore Girls, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Annie.
