Varma’s unbeaten 69 in 53 balls, coupled with Shivam Dube’s quickfire 33 from 22, forged an important 60-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Before the chase, India’s bowlers dominated: Kuldeep Yadav took 4/30, while Varun Chakravarthy (2/30), Axar Patel (2/26), and Jasprit Bumrah (2/25) contributed to bowling Pakistan out after India chose to field first.

Tilak goes over the wicket, and Fakhar slogs it to cow corner for a single. Back around, and Saim gets another single to long-on. Back over, and Fakhar drills it over cover for two.

Kuldeep for his third, starts with a massive wide. Saim looks to cut, but can’t beat point. Punches uppishly to deep cover for a single. Kuldeep is trying to keep it outside of Fakhar’s swinging arc, but he goes too wide again. Excellent running as Fakhar drops into the leg-side for two. The batters look for two again, but Tilak does well to cut off the second. Out! Saim looks to cut again, and Bumrah does well to take a stooping catch at point!
