India vs Pakistan Final LIVE Score: Sanju Samson speaks
Really enjoyed the pressure. Not played many Indo-Pak games but the pressure was there, I had to use my experience, calm my nerves, watch the ball and react. It came off nicely. I had a really good partnership with Tilak and enjoyed playing the game today. The game dictates what type of cricket you need to play. You have to respect the condition and situations. That is what we have learned after years and years of cricket in the IPL, years and years of playing cricket. That’s what cricket was taught us. Was looking to time the ball and that is what has helped me. Close games are really good and that is when your character is tested. This game was really crucial just before the World Cup. These knockout games do help us prepare for the big games coming up few months later.
India vs Pakistan Final LIVE Score: Shubman Gill speaks
Pretty amazing. Whole tournament unbeaten and feels amazing. We have played almost all of our cricket with each other. It’s amazing to bat with him, he has been phenomenal this tournament. The conversation was to take it as deep as possible. The target was not much but the way Sanju and Tilak batted and the way Dube hit those sixes was amazing. There wasn’t much panic with 30 off 3 overs, but it was a slow wicket and the boundaries are bigger, the way both the batters batted, first soaking in the pressure and then hit it all the way.
India bowled out Pakistan for a paltry 146 in the first innings of the 2025 Asia Cup final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

PAK 133/5 in 16 overs
Axar to finish, Salman steps out and cover gets in the way to save two. Oh, it seems Surya is appealing for an obstruction…I don’t think this will be given Salman has run in a straight line. Yup, third umpire says nothing doing. Quick single from Salman now. Out! Dreadful shot from Hussain Talat, looks to swing over cow corner and goes straight up, Sanju Samson takes the catch.
Hussain Talat c Sanju Samson b Axar Patel 1 (2b 0x4 0x6)
Mohammad Nawaz is in at 7, played a useful knock in the last match. Off the mark with a quick single. Salman steps away and cuts for a single to end the over.

Kuldeep to finish, Salman advances and tries to smash this to the moon! Gets only height, no distance, and Sanju Samson takes a smart catch.
Salman Ali Agha c Sanju Samson b Kuldeep Yadav 8 (7b 0x4 0x6)
Shaheen is in at 8, can he produce another useful cameo. Nope, doesn’t read the wrong ‘un and he’s gone lbw! Reviews immediately…and with good reason because he’s gloved it. Survives for now. Steps across, and Kuldeep fires it wider. It’s too wide though. Swings again, misses again. Steps across and misses it, no lbw given by the umpire. India reviews…and three reds. Shaheen is gone for a duck!
Shaheen Shah Afridi lbw Kuldeep Yadav 0 (3b 0x4 0x6)
So no cameo from Shaheen today, Faheem is Pakistan’s last recognised batter. Defends off the back foot. And now he’s drilled it to long-off! Frankly, this is dreadful batting from Pakistan.
Faheem Ashraf c Tilak Varma b Kuldeep Yadav 0 (2b 0x4 0x6)

Well, it doesn’t get any easier because here’s Bumrah. Nawaz edges to short third for one. Four! Deft, or luck? Doesn’t matter they all count, Haris edges his first ball for four! Massive swing and he connects with air. Not a bad shot, drilled through cover for two. Splat! Bumrah knocks out Haris’ off-stump, and gives him a send-off to go with it!
Haris Rauf b Bumrah 6 (4b 1×4 0x6)
Abrar Ahmed is the last man in, and he does well to keep out a yorker.
PAK 146/9 in 19 overs
Varun to bowl the penultimate over. Nawaz pinches two to start the over. Nawaz is turning down singles now. Single off the fourth delivery ofthe over, strange approach from Nawaz here. No real intent to hit boundaries. Confusion between the batters as they amble through to a single. Nawaz plays a gentle dab for one to end the over.
