After unveiling the Telugu teaser in Hyderabad earlier today, the makers of Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s upcoming action drama Dacoit launched the Hindi teaser in Mumbai in the presence of the cast and crew.
The gripping teaser introduces Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur as fearless dacoits, setting out on a dangerous mission filled with raw action, intense emotions, and rebellion. Adding a strong nostalgic touch, the film brings back a classic 1990s song, reimagined with a modern, gritty treatment that perfectly complements the film’s dark and high-octane narrative.
Dacoit launched the Hindi teaser
The makers of the much-anticipated bilingual action entertainer Dacoit have unveiled its Hindi teaser, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The teaser offers a powerful preview of a gritty world packed with explosive action, mounting tension, and deep-rooted emotions. With Anurag Kashyap appearing in a key role, the film sets expectations high with its intense performances and gripping storyline.
Dacoit Hindi teaser revealed
To celebrate the teaser launch on Thursday, the makers organised a special two-city event. The Telugu teaser was released in Hyderabad earlier in the day, while the Hindi version was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai later that evening.
The film is set for a massive pan-India theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the festive celebrations of Gudi Padwa and the extended Eid weekend. Notably, Dacoit will face stiff box-office competition, clashing with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 and Yash’s Toxic.
The teaser introduces Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh as dacoits setting out on a daring mission. While the narrative carries moments of intensity, it also adopts a playful tone, with Adivi Sesh’s character seen flirting with Mrunal. The mood becomes increasingly entertaining as the teaser showcases high-speed chases, heated confrontations, and explosive gunfights, all set against the backdrop of the iconic 90s track ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast’ from Mohra. Overall, the teaser suggests that Dacoit will be a lively blend of action, romance, and fun.

In addition to Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the film features filmmaker-actor Anurag Kashyap in a strong and impactful role. The ensemble cast also includes Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla, among others. The project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, with Sunil Narang serving as co-producer, and is presented by Annapurna Studios.
The film’s technical team includes Danush Bhaskar as the cinematographer, Bheems Ceciroleo as the music composer, and Kodati Pavan Kalyan handling the editing.
Dacoit marks the directorial debut of Shaneil Deo and has been filmed simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. The story and screenplay have been jointly written by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Initially slated for a Christmas 2025 release, the film has since been postponed and is now scheduled to hit theatres in March 2026.
